A Fabulous Double Deal!

For those of us who are just recovering from the Holiday spending or just trying to save in general, we've probably been taking it easy on going out for dinner, catching a movie, or both. I mean think about it...on average, dinner for two (splitting the appetizer, main course, and dessert to share) can cost up to $40 - $50. Then a movie ticket now is $22-$25 for two. Up to $75 to for dinner and movie, seriously?

Anyways, a friend and I have been trying to do a cost-saavy girls night where we catch up over dinner and watch a movie and she introduced to me such a great deal right across the street. A movie ticket at Tysons Corner Center's AMC Theater is $11. If you head to Coastal Flats Restaurant at the new end of Tysons Corner Center, you can purchase a movie ticket there for $7.50 with the purchase of even just an appetizer. I was ecstatic!!! So just this past Friday, we headed to Coastal Flats in Tysons Corner Center, I ordered Grilled Chicken Havarti Cheese Sandwich (Super Yum!) and she ordered the same and we spllit a Warm Flourless Chocolate Waffle, ordered our movie tickets and total was $40. Cheap and Convenient! Pass along this great deal.
